Josh Pryor is Chief Operating Officer at Business Improv. Josh has been in corporate learning and development for more than 15 years. Josh spent the first half decade of his career working with Fortune 500 senior level managers, directors, and executives at UCLA Anderson Executive Education, one of the Top 30 Executive Educations shops in the world. At Anderson Exec Ed, Josh was a Senior Program Manager focused mainly on the custom clients. He helped launch many new programs, affording participants incredible learning experiences that were brand new to the industry.

As Senior Program Manager, Josh managed 40 programs and approximately 1,500 participants, every year. His primary role as PM was to take a program as it existed on paper, coordinate all logistical aspects of the program, and execute a top tier experience for clients, participants, and faculty. As a direct result of these interactions, Josh developed into a passionate relationship builder with enormous experience servicing both domestic and international clients.

Josh has been on the Business Improv leadership team since 2013. Josh is responsible for driving growth for Business Improv while helping to maintain the company’s on-going success at exceeding client expectations. He’s also charged with developing new business opportunities, improving efficiencies of business operations, and enhancing the profile of the company. In additional to his internal operational and managerial duties, Josh is an active participant in content design and curriculum development for BI clients.

Josh has been serving as Business Improv’s Chief Operating Officer since January 2023. Josh’s main focuses include leading the Business Improv team’s day-to-day operations while partnering with Business Improv CEO Bob Kulhan on the strategic vision and growth of Business Improv. Josh is a driven relationship-builder who excels at developing lasting partnerships.

Josh has a great passion for his own personal and professional development and is never tired of learning new things. Josh spends most of his free time enjoying life with his wife and three children. Otherwise, he’s a big fan of podcasts, reading, exercising, emerging technologies, college basketball (Go Cuse!), and golfing when he can. Josh lives just outside Durham, NC with his family.
