Nick Tobey has worked in technology, education and organizational development for over 15 years, specializing in sales management and implementing revenue growth strategies. Most recently, he developed and managed a 5-year growth strategy for Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business Management Executive Education Department.
Prior to Pepperdine, he led the sales and marketing team responsible for individual development programs at UCLA Anderson’s Executive Education. Under his leadership, they established new corporate relationships, had 40% revenue growth in their flagship programs and increased UCLA’s FT.com ranking from 31st to 18th.
Nick leveraged his knowledge of organizational development and relationships with C-suite executives of leading organizations to design both customized and individual solutions that developed talent from board directors to first-time managers.
Prior to UCLA Anderson, he was one of the first employees at Pinnacle Education, Inc. (a charter management company in Arizona) and was instrumental in the growth of their online education business. Pinnacle eventually became one of the largest online high schools in Arizona and service provider to K12 districts looking for an online education partner. In his early career, he played a key role in developing the sales strategy for LearnLinc, the 1st synchronous virtual classroom in the US market.
Nick is currently completing an MS degree in Organization Development from Pepperdine. He also has a degree in Political Science from Arizona State University and is a graduate of UCLA Anderson’s Executive Program.
